By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms are between you and Maatruu Pitafinserv Private Limited.

What we do

We are an insurance distributor. We help you compare products offered by insurers on our panel, arrange the policy you select, and assist you with servicing and claims.

We are not an insurer. We do not underwrite risk, we do not issue policies, and we do not decide claims. Those are the insurer's functions, and the insurer alone is liable to you under the policy.

Quotes, premiums and information

Premiums, benefits and figures shown on this website are indicative and are provided for comparison only. The final premium, the terms offered, and whether cover is offered at all, are determined by the insurer following underwriting.

Information on this site is general in nature. It is not, and must not be relied on as, advice tailored to your circumstances, nor as investment, tax or legal advice. Your cover is governed solely by the policy document issued by the insurer — where anything on this site conflicts with that document, the policy document prevails.

We take reasonable care to keep information accurate and current, but products and regulations change. We do not warrant that all content is complete or up to date at any given moment.

Your obligations

• Give complete and accurate information in any proposal or quote request. Non-disclosure of a material fact is the most common reason a claim is repudiated.
• Read the policy wording, including exclusions and waiting periods, before concluding a purchase.
• Keep your contact details current so we can reach you about renewals and claims.
• Use this website lawfully, and do not attempt to disrupt, scrape or gain unauthorised access to it.

How we are remunerated

We do not charge you a fee. We receive distribution commission from the insurer, within the limits prescribed by IRDAI. Commission rates vary between products and insurers.

Where our recommendation differs from the lowest-priced option available to you, we will tell you so and explain the basis for it.

Advisors and PoSP appointments

Applications to join our advisor programme are subject to eligibility, document verification, completion of the IRDAI-mandated training, and passing the prescribed examination. Appointment is at our discretion.

An appointed advisor may solicit and sell only the products they are authorised to sell, must comply with IRDAI regulations and our code of conduct, and must not make representations about cover or claims that go beyond the policy wording.

Commission entitlements, payment terms and clawback provisions are governed by the separate advisor agreement executed at onboarding.

Intellectual property

The design, text, graphics and code of this website are owned by Maatruu Pitafinserv Private Limited or licensed to us, and may not be copied or reproduced without permission. Insurer names and marks referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, nor for the acts or omissions of an insurer in underwriting a proposal or deciding a claim.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

Third-party links

This site may link to insurer and regulator websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at the location of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies.
